Our FAT thank yous’
Obviously without a couple
of KEY people our marriage wouldn’t have been possible, but Rob’s already thanked me and I’ve thanked him so that leaves the
stragglers we’ve yet to acknowledge.
To all at BAROQUE – this is a personal one from me (Mrs. Beth Simpson,
Hitched) Jason. The ring. AMAZING. I have bored Rob to tears with my wonderment about how anyone can get such an incredibly
important piece of adornment so incredibly right. You truly are a legend. I can’t wait to see the finished piece and thank
you all so much for being there with us.
Ads (& Ains), Cloud Ear (& Dan) & Big Bear - Your tolerance of
my rants is worth a medal regardless, but to then deal with the gibbering wreck that was ‘she-to-be-wed-in-just-a-few-days’
Johnson is quite some feat. Thank you for your wise words, support and love in the build up to the big event. You are my HEROES.
To Lisa, Dave & Lucas Simmo – thank you so much for our stag/hen (sten?..hag??) night champers and strawberries.
To come back to the Hard Rock Hotel after a night full of rollercoasters (literally. not an indication of early cracks appearing
in our previously advertised ‘perfect’ union) and to sit and sip was as a joy. So very thoughtful. Thank you.

at Dancing With the Stars – So so thoughtful of you to arrange the flowers, the scent of which greeted us in such beautiful
abundance as we entered our palace here in Lake Las Vegas. You are the greatest – can’t wait to party some more with y’all
tomorrow back in l’il ol’ West Hollywood.
To Rose-Ann, Rev. Ron, Charles & Elvis at The World Famous Little
White Chapel (that’s the politically correct title right?). I mean to state the obvious would be an insult but without
employing a bunch of am-dram hopefuls we couldn’t have done it without you. You made our very special day quite incredible,
and believe us; the hoards around the world are in utter adoration of y’all.
Our Mums (and the rest of the
sprawlin masses). Thank you for being so understanding about our refusal to go the traditional route with this. It means the
world to us that you were there and made such an effort to do so – we will provide you with adequate hat-wearing events in
the future (erm..How does a hat-wearing themed party sound???….)
The rest of you As much as it sounds like
a catch-all title there are so many more of you to thank for your messages but it would take up far too much of our honeymoon
to get on and mention you, there’s loads of other stuff to do ..So deal with it. (Or. alternatively a million thank yous'
for making such sterling efforts to attend our wedding. Might we just say – you scrub up rather well. You do surprise us!)
